This just makes me wonder WTF is this world coming to! On tues of this week I was on my way out the Skeletal Remains area in Spearfish Canyon and in that little cubby hole at the base of preparation H there was a bunch of rotting meat :shock: . This was very extreme and I don't why people would want to do this, obviously they have no respect for the climbing community much less the best interests of nature. Thought I would vent a little on this issue but has there always been a problem w/ krap like this out there?

Did you check for a trap?
Chances are, if you had poked around a bit you would have found a foot trap of some sort.
