It's a poor boy's birthday on the 1st of October. Far from his friends and family he is about to celebrate alone. The empty chamber in the barren neighborhood somewhere in dreary Paris echoes his sobbing... ... it would - if it wasn't for The return of Big Brother and the Bouldering Bunch Gals, guys, I need your help to kidnap my brother and abduct him to Fontainebleau. He's gonna be 25 that very day and I'm sure he won't be that reluctant. :D The 1st is a Sunday, so it's a good excuse to have a nice little party Saturday night - before we take a nap, get some jogging done at 5.30 am and tear down some 8b's *cough* *cough* Anybody in? - Daniel PS: Heiko, you might feel free to (however) turn this into a gatering... Thanks!

I may or may not be in. Believe me I have a very good reason to get back to Fonti (a certain elephant I am obsessed with!). However I have already commited to copious amounts of drinking and other forms of debauchery the last weekend of Sept for Octoberfest. Also my long lost buddy finally will be returning from Qatar in the end of Sept. If it's at all possible to meet you guys out there I will be in, but there's alot of ifs.

Maybe I should come? I think at least one visit at Fonti in a lifetime could make sense.... 8^)

AAAAAAARG! I won't be there. Neither my brother will be. Nor do I know how I manage to get my whole holdiays re-structured... Holy shhhhhhhhhuffle. What happend? My other brother (the middl'un) just decided to present his diploma on 29th. He studies media communication and this 'presentation' will be worth it's name. Don't know exactly what he's up to, but there's a pool involved, a beamer on a 14m scaffold, some kind of acting... big thing. Now the whole family including littl'un has decided to meet up there and stay there until littl'un's birthday. No chance for me to bail out (wouldn't want to anyway, this is gonna be freaking fun!). :x :D  :D  :D :x :D :D [Smile therapie that is...] - Daniel

so, what's the plan? SInce I'm not with my gf anymore and since nothing is planned for my holidays between the 24th of september and the 4th of october, I might be a little free... On another hand I would die to spend a week climbing over the mediterranean shore anywhere, or just stand relax on a beach for one week in a Greek island, with the sea for myself...

Well I just moved to Dublin and I've never been to bleau. I'm not sure if I can make it, but I'm damn well interested. Does anyone have any tips on how to get there? Which airport to fly into...how to get to bleau from the airport? I know zero French, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest would be to fly to Paris-Orly, the airport is south-east of Paris, as Fontainebleau is too. You should be able to get a train then, it's not far. Booger recommended the l'êtape hotel, don't know where it is, but maybe you find it online. Problem would be to get to the actual boulder areas as they are far spread. You'd need to bunch up with someone there or better of rent a car. Maybe booger chimes in for more. - Daniel
