Will it last, and hold up in heavy rain. and will it keep me dry?

slept a couple of nights in heavy rain, no problem there. The thing is built as bombproof as a bivy can be. I think it would be pretty hard to destory it. I haven't slept in it during a horible windstorm, normal mtn windstorm only. i have used my buddies mtn hardware bivy, the rei bivy was at least as good, if not better. i like the fact that the rei bivy has an 6 zipper system, so you can hang your arms out and head out while being closed in.

I'll sell you mine... never slept in, regular size. I'll beat REI's price.

let me know if you are interested. I hear these are great, but I never use mine.

I have one for sale too. I need to check but I think it was made by Climb High. Made with Sympatex which is Europe's answer to GoreTex. Tough fabric. It is new and I have the tags. How about $130 shipped anywhere in Continental US..
