There are pull-offs all around Looking Glass where you can put up a tent or sleep in your rig. They even have fire pits. Oh yea, they are free!

There's camping all over the place around Looking Glass. There're are a handful of coveted spots near the South Face approach trail. I prefer camping farther away near the stables. I've only had one bad time camping near Looking Glass, and it wasn't in Pisgah. All the same, I wouldn't leave anything in your tent or car you don't want someone to pawn for you.
