I am looking for a WilderNest camper that will fit a 2002 Dodge Ram regular cab, regular bed truck. I'm willing to travel long distances for the right camper at a reasonable price. Email me at rqscott@greenville.k12.sc.us

Good luck buddy. Colorado is wildernest central, and it's a bitch to find one here. I've got one in OK shape. If I cand find one in better condition, I'd sell mine. Until then, that baby is staying right where it is. Wildernests are the greatest invention EVER! I'm a freak about my topper, can you tell? So here's a little wildernest trivia question:
Who invented the wildernest? (this should be an easy one for this crowd)

Nice find, but I think that's a full size one. I think he's looking for a regular size.

What the hell? If nobody here knows who invented the wildernest I will consider myself king of RC.com for a day!

If anyone is still looking for a wildernest in the NJ/NYC area, I've got one that will fit a shortbed truck. It's on a Toyota 4x4 now that's also for sale. Check it out here.

Greg Lowe invented the Wildernest. I worked with him during the Wildernest heyday and scored one for my Toyota longbed. It was killer and the stupidest thing I ever did was sell it with the truck.

The product died because it was impossible to find the right sales channel for it. The topper shops didn't like it because it was a complicated demo and install. The RV guys didn't like it because it would take a sale away from a pickup camper for 1/10th the price. LL Bean tried to sell them but couldn't sort out the install proceedure. They weren't just a bolt-on affair like a topper. They were spring loaded and required specail tools and proceedures to install.

Mal

PS: any one have one that will fit my Ford Ranger extra cab?
