just kidding... Find an experienced partner who is willing to show you the ropes and climb with them and learn everything you can. Carry all their crap, but them candy bars, be really nice to them. Then, when you're a n00b expert like the rest of us, you'll find a kid to buy you candy bars and carry your junk. Climbing outside is WAY better than climbing in a gym. hosh.

In reply to: im 14 and ive been climbing for a year. ive yet to climb outdoors and was wondering if my project in a gym are v3-v5s wat would i climb outdoors Ah your 14, ok that explains the title... I used to speak giberish to, how hard do you climb out doors, how about v. you shouldn't care, if you climbed v.fun indoors, then you would climb v. awesome out doors. Thats the scale I use but if you wanna talk grades v.2- ish ... depends on your strengths and weekneses.... but generaly take off a grade and a half. welcome to the out door world and totaly good to hear younger and younger people climbing, hell I just belayed a 4 year old up a 5.5 that was so awesome! Good luck bro

I'd first get the idea of climbing at a certain grade out of your head. Guarented the grading at any area you go to will climb different and grade different than at your gym. And then when you go to a different area it'll be different again. There no real way to figure it out from what you climb at the gym.
