this one is weird but true

The smell of Crayola crayons is so familiar that it is one of the 20 most recognizable scents to American adults (right up there with coffee and peanut butter) and so soothing that sniffing crayons has been shown
to lower blood pressure.

go figure

Myth: Your hair and nails continue to grow after you die.

Fact: They don't. Your tissue recedes from your hair and nails, making them appear longer.

Myth: It's darkest just before the dawn.

Fact: Actually, it's darkest at about 2:00 am.

Many years ago in England, pub frequenters had a whistle baked into the rim or handle of their ceramic cups. When they needed a
refill, they used the whistle to get some service. "Wet your whistle" is the phrase inspired by this practice.

We have a tiny, microscopic worm that lives along our eyelashes. It's not harmful, in fact it's helpful, but I don't remember what it does.

Nope, read the front page of the site a little more closely . There's a posting on it under the news category. Hehehe.

Adam, think you opened a can of worms on that question. I'll refrain from comment as I know both are guilty of spraying, although I couldn't try to place which one is worse than the other.

I think I would have to say Sport climbers, since everyone shows up with virtually the same gear. No "gear" excuses to fall back on.

You're more likely to be a target for mosquitoes if you consume bananas.
