Can't Post

Dear bolt guru:

I climbed leap year flake a few days ago and noticed one bolt at the rap chains had a gap between the bolt head and hanger. It looked like it was set that way and had not slipped. I seemed closer to a 70 degree angle instead of 90 from the rock face.

It is probably safe but if you have experience placing bolts and are in the area, please take a look at it for everyone. Oh, there is also a small cam/ tcu stuck in the overhanging crack above this route. Booty for he that can pull-the-cam-from-the-stone.

Cheers,
-Dave
