Has anyone been up to the Needles lately? I'm thinking about heading up around Oct. 20.... Just wondering if anyone's been up there recently or during the same time previous years. Thanks for any beta.

Been climbing up there as late as mid November, it just depends.
One October trip we got in a couple of perfect days and then ended up retiring to the Ponderosa in a light rain. The next morning we bailed in the snow after a night of driving freezing rain.
Had to slide the bivy sacks into the car the next morning like giant pizzas to frozen to fold.
