around Lausanne (max 1 hour and a half driving) are there any bouldering spots or crags climbable at the end of November?

there is plenty of climbing around. about the bouldering at this time i am not so sure. you can maybe try massongex. it is situated in the rhone valley, about half way between montreux and martigny.

hard to predict how climbing will be in this area end of november. sometimes you can climb in a t-shirt. sometimes you rather go skiing. what are you exactly looking for?

Well, we're really just looking to escape some family for a day... :wink: I don't ski, but I'm sure Paolo would find it entertaining to watch me break a leg :lol: Um... yeah, any kind of rock is better. Cold is okay if it's for bouldering. :D No sport or trad for me in the cold... I'm a wuss!
