I've built a pretty decent woodie in my garage. My lead climbing experience has been very limited. To get my self more accustomed to clipping in to anchors and repelling off of them, I'm thinking of putting two hangers at the top of my wall to practice on. Obviously this is standard practice at gyms and their lead walls, but I was wondering if there is any technical info that I need to be aware of with regards to the size hangers or size of washers I might need.
Can I go pretty standard here without any issues?

A good idea is to put a 2x4 block behind the plywood and use a standard bolt that will fit. If your not too high off the ground and can't get to the back of your wall, just use the t-nuts. Not as strong but works on my wall.
