I don't know where that is as I just moved to charleston from Utah. Is there anyplace to climb indoors here? I have holds and would be interested in putting some kind of wall together. Looking to climb somehow/somewhere.

There are two other choices but JICP is the best option. The two others are indoor but only 30' high with EXTREMELY hard hours to get in. They are on the local Air Force and Navy bases in the area. I contacted one of the guys who climbs there and he said if you get in touch with him he would try to work something out to get us in there.

there is a good indoor climbing gym in Columbia. It's about an hour and a half from Charleston though. 40 ft walls and then 2 bouldering rooms. Or you can go to Rumbling Bald in NC to boulder. It would be about a 3 hr drive for you Chas. folks. It's 2 hrs. from me.
