Any Wyoming climbers that could give me an idea what the area is like? I'm looking for a new job, and could end up relocating here, but for me good local climbing is a must...

Edited to include: Wyoming!!

I know there is some climbing in and around Rock Springs. However, i'm not sure about the quality and number of climbs. There is, possibility of route production on numerous formations that remind me of the Fisher Towers. Access to the Wind River Range along with climbing near Pinedale is within a few hours. You can also access Wild Iris by driving north and then east through Farson. Iris would take a while to get to though. I hope this helps a little.

I have not climbed down there but I know there is a growing bouldering scene there. Check out the Flaming gorge stuff. Thats where the bouldering is other than that a drive is a must for good route climbing. Rock Springs also has an indoor climbing gym.
