in the archive of PM's I've been sent, the text for the one I had kept simply says "privmsgs_text". looks like a variable name that might have been used in the migration. Maybe a $ got left out of some perl code, or a substitution didn't happen that was planned. in any event, this is low priority for me at lease, though I could see that some might prioritize it differently

Hey - just to confirm, do you see this when you open a PM that you sent before the site migration? I assume the link to the PM works, it's just that you see this instead of the body of the message. Also, is this for all of them or just a specific PM?

I'm not a good representative case, because in my case ALL is one. It only appears in the received PM, and it is in place of the body that was expected. yes, in a PM sent pre-migration.

This problem is noticeable in MANY pm's pre-migration for me.... I'm talking pages worth.... so it'd be nice if we could get the real text back for these, thanks.
