Hey y'all,
I came to Mexico (DF) primarily to work and I've only brought bare minimum gear for local cragging.
I may have a chance to visit EPC soon (work related...but I'll def make time to climb!!) but...I've only got a 50m rope... :(
Since i've got a nice 60m at home in the states, i'm not stoked to buy another rope.
Are there any single pitches that can safely be done on a 50? Any multy pitches?

es posible a usar una cuerda de 50 metros en el potrero chico? entiendo que se recomienda a usar una de 60m a menos...pero tengo solamente mi pequeno cuerda conmigo en mexico... :(
hay rutas donde se puede usar una cuerda de 50m?

No, a 50m rope is pretty much worthless in the Potrero. Look me up when you get here (at Tami's Cafe) and I can lend you a 60m rope.

Dont try to make any climb with a 50 metrs rope with out knowing the distance down, you can became stuck or have an accident. There are a lot of routes in EPC where not even a 60 meters rope is enought.
And rembember to use your brain bucket.
Have a lot of fun.

there are also climbs where a 70M rope is not enough.

ah well beggers can't be choosers, so i'm stoked to use a 60m (thanks potreroed!) and stick to the routes i can still rappel down.
