has anyone been climbing lately in so. colorado? think it's getting too cold or will it be acceptable in the next couple of weeks, provided suns out and it's a nice weekend? areas im talking about would be penitente canyon, or shelf road.

Just keep your eye on the weather and wait for a sunny day(s). I've been climbing in the S. Platte for the last couple of weeks and its been great!!! There's not really any collected snow on the ground and as long as stay south facing you'll get good sn.
I haven't been to shelf in a while but Turkey Rock is pretty close to C. Springs and it's been nice.

Good luck.
