Let me try to add to this explaination.

1)You have to get a photo into your computer. Use a scanner, digital camera, or some other service to get the photo into your computer.

2) Most devices will suggest that you store the photograph in JPEG format. If the photo is in any other format then you have to convert it using a photo editing program on your computer. Save this file somewhere you can find it later like My Documents or your Desktop.

3) Clean the photo up and size it to fit on the screen. You need to follow the parameters that I listed on the photo submission page. If this is a photo of you, then problably list it as Low. Make sure it's small enough (less than 25 K).

4) Submit the photo by clicking here http://www.rockclimbing.com/photo/submit.php

5) Press the browse button to select the the photo on your computer where you saved it (like My Documents? see step 2).

patience grasshopper....

You can send the photo submission, I know you can. I had to keep resizing pics to get them to take, too high, too wide (why ya gotta call me fat???), file size too big (again w/ the fat!).

But you'll be able to tick this one off bra, just stick w/ it.

I followed your instructions and it appears to have worked okay for my personal photo but I was just wondering why we still need an 80 character discription just for a personal photo that we want to add to our profile page. Am I doing something wrong as it wouldn't let me send it until I provided the description.

coach...yes you will have to add teh desxcription...we made it mandatory so that there was not a lot of pics that had no description. Since the profile pic is jsut teh same as a regual pic...just smaller...you will still need the description. The description will not show up in next to teh picture when yo uput it next to your profile. Just will be in the database
