This is old news I guess but I only found out just now.

If I could live just half the life that Brad did I would have exceeded everything I thought possible.

I am so glad to have had a chance to speak with him a few years ago. He was truly an inpiration at 96 years old when I met him. He contributed so much to the world, far more than just the mountains.

There are volumes of biographical and autobiograhical info on Bradford Washburn - He was a mountain photographer, cartographer, professor, museum president, explorer, and a fine alpine climber. Search Google. I would encourage everyone to learn more about this incredible man.
