caving designed harness? yes I'm prety sure but I'm not a caver so I dont really know if your looking for a harness you might want to try one of the bigwall harnesses with beefy padding the Waldo perhaps

no, there are a few caving specific makers......you can see a few of them here: http://www.karstsports.com/harnesses.html I've been caving for 15 years and swear by the Petzl harnesses though........extra padding is actually bad, as it can absorb mud and wat and add weight, you want something that can take the punishment......

A good gear site is http://www.caves.org/imo/ I'm a member of the Virginia Tech cave club and that's where we get most of our stuff. GGG, Gonzo Guano Gear makes some nice stuff too. That's what I use. If you're looking for a harness, you've obviously doing some vertical stuff. Depending on your ascending system, the harness can make a huge difference.
