ok then. Good luck clipping your rope to a quickdraw. I know that can be hard with the wrong rope. hahaha

Yes. I have climbed so much that I am very skilled at clipping a rope into a caribiner.
So skilled in fact, that I can do it with any brand of rope. Even, with different diameter ropes. Maybe someday you can too.

I want the beal to use with the other beal I have (a cobra II).
I haven't got to use it yet as i didn't buy both halves (halfs?) at once, so i figured i'd get the joker as it's partner. Why, you may ask? mostly because it's also rated as a single. If they don't last, as you (unrooted) say they don't, then I won't buy them again.

Feb 9th I believe is the REI super clearance where everything that has a price ending in .83 is half off. even the internet orders which they will ship to your nearest stop for free. Not much in the way of climbing hardwear, but a Ok splay of other schlock. www.rei.com

Which may suck if you are a gear store, but if you just are into buying gear, it will save you $$$

I checked it out briefly. It's helpful, but not perfect. For example, it missed the best web price I've seen yet on Women's La Sportiva Mythos shoes: http://www.campmor.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=39199012&memberId=12500226.
Another item it listed for a killer price was not available anymore. So, useful and good, but not the final answer.
