Howdy, I'm wondering if any of you would like to serve up your opinion on great multi-pitch routes at the Bald, anything up to mid-5.11. I've just done two there so far. The first was Granola (5.8) on the Cereal Buttress. Pretty cool but a short and very easy second pitch. The second was an unnamed 5.11- at the Test Pilots area, to the right and down the hill from Test Pilots. First pitch is bolted, second pitch is mixed and takes A LOT of TCUs (purple-yellow) in slots, with thin and delicate moves down low and run-out juggy slab up high. Really cool. So tell me what are your favs? chill

Since you've already done Granola, you're probably aware of Fruit Loops right next to it. It's a nice two-pitch route, though it might be too easy for you (5.7) if you're looking for 5.11. The first pitch (crack) is a little spicy at the start but eases off the higher you get. The chimney start on P2 is fun and well-protected. JL

You might try Flappin' in the Breeze. Only 10a, but it's one of my RB favorites. Expect runout slabbin' for three pitches. Guppies in the Mist is another really good one, 10d.

Lakeview, 2 pitch easy 10; link up Bear Hunt and the Gift or Gift Certificate; hike over to the north side, lots of multipitch over there, Cereal Wall has a few good two pitch moderates.
