So i work out at a high ropes course and my boss said I could set up a highline one day when don't have any clients.

I've never high-lined before but I can consistently walk down my 60 foot slackline and then turn around and walk all the way back... wash rinse repeat... and would like to try high-lining. I don't really have the expertise or gear required to rig a highline that would catch my weight if I fell, so I wanted to jump on the opportunity to belay from above. Basically i was planning on rigging the line up the same way I normally do and then protecting the fall by a dynamic top rope belay. Do you more advanced slackers have any suggestions with this? Do you see any problems?

I actually did the same thing at the high ropes course I work at, except it was just a pully with a leash atatched to an upper cable. it's worked awsome for me. If it turns out good, ask your boss to keep it for clients, they'll get a kick out of it and prolly wont get hurt

I've seen plain steel biners tethered to overhead cables work just fine too.
