I'm looking for climbing partners. I'm rusty but still good to lead 5.8, maybe 5.9, and follow 5.10a-b, all sport stuff. As the rust gets shined off I'll get back to leading 5.10b-c. I'm in Phoenix. My schedule is messed up but I'm available both weekends and weekdays. David IDWNSHFT@juno.com

I'm going to be in Sedona Dec. 17 - Dec. 24. I really want to do some climbing while there. If anyone wants to meet up in Sedona or Flagstaff, let me know. I can lead 10b/c sport and follow a grade or two higher. Can follow trad to about 10a/b. If anyone wants to do the leading on some trad routes I have no problems following. Thanks, Sean

Hey, I'm visiting family in Phoenix over the holidays. I'd really like to get out and climb Thursday and/or Friday the 21st, 22nd. I haven't done much climbing in the area, I know Queen Creek is a good sport spot not too far away? My lead limit is about 5.10 trad, 5.11 sport. Hope to hear from somebody!

I'm going to be in Phoenix area starting New Years 07 weekend for 10 days or so. I want to climb out at the Homestead, El Cap Canyon Or the Coliseum. I can pull fairly hard for a old dude (49) and I can get the Draws up on just about anything. Let me know so I don't have to set New Routes by myself! Thanks

I just moved to Phoenix and don't know anyone here at all. I'd like to meet some climbers, obviously, and go climbing. I can climb in the 5.8/5.9 area. I have some experience leading sport and following trad. I'm almost always willing to go climbing. Also, you must be safe. I'm available the next few weekends, and afternoons during the week. after that my schedule gets funny, but I will be available.

Brand new to climbing and looking to get outdoors in a bit. I want to go to the indoor gym a few more times before I get out but if anyone is willing to take a noob out and help me along that would be great. I should have a harness, shoes, and rope in a couple of weeks. Ill be getting more gear as soon as I learn what I need and what its for.

Hey, I'm thinking of coming to Phoenix this next week. I'll have 4-5 days free to do some climbing. I've heard Granite mountain is good, or Cochise Stronghold. I'm thinking trad because of a finger injury, but I'm not too picky. I"ll want to lead stuff up to .10, .10+ or so, but again, not too picky. Let me know if you're interested in a trip or a day, so I can make some plans. Thanks!

Speaking of Atlantis...hubby and I are headed down Phx way this week and wanted to check out a different area of QC. We thought Atlantis is a hot weather crag but no? Forecast for Tues/Wed is cloudy but 54-68 degrees. Doable?

Atlantis is just east of the town of Superior, and it can be anywhere from 5-10 degrees colder there than downtown PHX. Also, it's mostly shaded, as it's a northerly facing cliff, so you won't get the benefit of sun. Doable? Sure. Bring a fleece, beanie, and a thermos of coffee.

Ready to move outdoors from the Rock Gym? I'm looking for an outdoor rock climbing partner. (I'm in Mesa, but don't mind driving.) I'm not a totally stellar climber yet, but getting better rapidly so if someone in the beginning/intermediate range might be interested I have have gear etc. I'm looking to start with sport routes but getting more and more interested in trad. Please feel free to message me.

Thanks, Reno. I thought that was the case and then saw a post about climbing there in November. It'll probably be the Pond.

Anyone free during the week Feb 12 -16 for climbing Phx area? I'm here while my husband is working, want to get out there! I've been to the Pond, that's it, interested in going back or checking out some new places (sport or trad). I'm a fledgling leader, mostly follow now, looking to improve both leading and difficulty. Shoot me a PM! Elyse :)
