I didn't quite get it.....could you maybe act it out for me? Here, here's some nails, I'll get some wood, and that way you can emulate JC and stop fucking bothering people with this shit. You may believe that one man died for all of us, but many, many, many more have died because of missionary pricks like you. Ahhh, that felt good.

I log on everyday thinking I might learn something or meet some peeps to climb with all over the country/world. I don't know why I still log on to this site thinking I'm going to find 100% (or close to it) climbing and outdoor related information. I don't really care which category a post appears (community, soap box, etc.), it's still on the ROCKCLIMBING.COM website.

Haha, that's genius. Create an account on a message board, and post one post to try and get people to convert. Of COURSE that will work. After all, people on this message board probably have never heard of jesus before. I wonder if there's a quota for message board posts that will get you into heaven. Y'know, post 5000 posts on different message boards talking about how awesome jesus is, you get a free pass to heaven.

Macherry, I respect you as a moderater and all but see this is where it get's interesting. There was a post a while back in the Ladies Room, I believe it was you that stated they we had to "at least mention" climbing in out posts. So the rest of the thread sounded silly with "-while climbing" mixed in and completely unrelated to the subject of the original thread. Is this because the Ladies Room is just one spot (ex. there is no Ladies Room Soap Box) or should all posts include climbing/outdoor-esque information? As stated above, if you did not make that comment then I totally apologize and thus i guess I missed the point of "The Soap Box."

You missed the point of the soapbox. Genral bitching and moaning about religion and the state of the world. No climbing allowed here, unless it's bush climbing into satan's anus.

Stoney The insistence that climbers *only* talk about climbing (here or anywhere really) just isn't acceptable. That's the root issue. We won't be imposed upon by those who insist on dictating our conversations. Its no more complicated than that. We're climbers! We're more akin to cats than sheep or dogs. Well, some of us are more closely related to canines than we like to admit haha. DMT

And possible because the ladies room was originally intended for women's climbing related issues...but it's evolved/devolved, whatever. no need to apologize...........i can be an ass like any other user on this site. and dingus, thanks for quoting John Prine, one of my all time favorite singer/songwriters

Dogs (Waters, Gilmour) 17:06 You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need. You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street, You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed. And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight, You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking. And after a while, you can work on points for style. Like the club tie, and the firm handshake, A certain look in the eye and an easy smile. You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to, So that when they turn their backs on you, You'll get the chance to put the knife in. You gotta keep one eye looking over your shoulder. You know it's going to get harder, and harder, and harder as you get older. And in the end you'll pack up and fly down south, Hide your head in the sand, Just another sad old man, All alone and dying of cancer. And when you loose control, you'll reap the harvest you have sown. And as the fear grows, the bad blood slows and turns to stone. And it's too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around. So have a good drown, as you go down, all alone, Dragged down by the stone. I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused. Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used. Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise. If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze? Deaf, dumb, and blind, you just keep on pretending That everyone's expendable and no-one has a real friend. And it seems to you the thing to do would be to isolate the winner And everything's done under the sun, And you believe at heart, everyone's a killer. Who was born in a house full of pain. Who was trained not to spit in the fan. Who was told what to do by the man. Who was broken by trained personnel. Who was fitted with collar and chain. Who was given a pat on the back. Who was breaking away from the pack. Who was only a stranger at home. Who was ground down in the end. Who was found dead on the phone. Who was dragged down by the stone.

OK, some sad, pathetic, disjointed, and senseless song lyrics by DMT that have nothing to do with dogs at all. What a sad life you must lead, guy. Might think about some counseling or something.

Oh reno... It seems like: If you didn't care what happened to me, And I didn't care for you We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain Occasionally glancing up through the rain Wondering which of the buggers to blame And watching for pigs on the wing. But its really all: You know that I care what happens to you And I know that you care for me So I don't feel alone Of the weight of the stone Now that I've found somewhere safe To bury my bone And any fool knows a dog needs a home A shelter from pigs on the wing DMT

No I think I'm done with Pinkie for now thanks. Frankly the whole 'dog thing' is just too rich. It works for me I know that. At the end of the day I think each of us identifies better with the animal disposition that most closely suits our individual temperaments. I'll leave it at that. Cheers DMT
