See this as advise or maybe just a rant, but all you people that haven't even bothered to fill out your profile and post stupid @#$%^ questions in the community forum really piss me off.
I know I may never meet the majority of the people who post on this site, but I can at least gleen a little bit of information about them off of their profile.
To those of you who don't do that, stop wasting my time with your weak attempts at taking part in conversation.

What was implied - and most likely understood by all who have read my rant - was that a username with no profile is the internet equivalent of anonymous; an anonymous posting in the community forum is bullshit. IMO

I believe that the OP is referring to forum posts where a person with a blank profile posts something like: "I cant do a forum search tell me wear i can go to colluge to climb." or "Where should I go on my road trip?" In order to provide a helpful response it is nice for use to know what type of climbing the OP likes to do, where they live, what level they climb, or if they an attractive young female that we would like to spent hours belaying on long stemming corners.

If your being conversational, informative, and opinionated, I don't see how the details of your identity matters. If you're being beligerant, making threats, being crude, trash typing behind the veil of anonymity, or claiming a high degree of expertise and accomplishment, than I think it matters who you are.
