I'm new to climbing in Columbia. Is there any bouldering in the area or is everything top rope?

there's a bouldering section at capen park off of rock quarry rd. it's at the main cliff. just look for all the mulch on the ground, that's the bouldering area.

If you are affiliated with the University, there's a climbing gym with 5 top ropes, and a bouldering wall nearby -- the entrance is on the first floor. There is also a bouldering gym somewhere north of town -- local.google it.
