I've noticed often when I try to edit a route description that it won't accept it due to an error in the R/L field. It says I can't use a " in that field. I'm not typing anything in that field and it appears blank anyway. Am I missing something obvious or is this just a glitch?

No, I am afraid this is a bug. Until fixed, you'll have to put an integer in that field. Remember it determines the left to right sort order of routes in the section.
