ok, not who, but why the two bolts now on Bird on a Wire on Lost Horse Wall, replacing the previous single one? was the second higher bolt placed to offer an extra 2' of protection? maybe adding only one more bolt to make for a bolted anchor had seemed like a good idea at the time? cuz that's about the worst place to have an anchor in that section. anyone knows? wh-wh-wh-what happened? did that for the first time last saturday. very nice climb. also ran up the Swift and checked out the far left finish up the fingercrack roof. that was fun too Sean

I think you're asking on the wrong website. You might be able to get some sort of answer on Gordo's site, or maybe MP.com, but I doubt it. I'll assume you've read the comments on MP.com by DE ( the FA )? As you probably know, most belay stations at Josh are added by guides ( and by "do-gooders" ). - Murf

thanks, Murf. and no, DE not happy at all, sounded like both the new book and the Bartlett showed 1 bolt, what i went up expecting. then came up on the strange set-up. stared and pondered, then kept going was just curious, and wanted some closure
