Sorry... I just looked at climbomatic again. I included a picture for future reference because, I looked less than 50 minutes ago, and the button was still errored, now they are magically sold out. Did anyone actually buy some of these? Unless someone proves otherwise, I'm not convinced they ever were for sale. I think it's bs.

Dustin, this is most likely just another trick to get people interested and back into the site. A couple days ago he had Calidris Harnesses up for like 20 something plus shipping. Magically Sold out, and he left it up there for at least another day and a half. Guessing he wants to generate some good hope with the good deals. I am also interested to know if anyone has gotten any of them. Or the Tiblocks which were sold out as well. Everytime I see something worth buying its sold out. I hate making assumptions, but if anything I would bet he sold maybe one...then marked it as sold out!

http://www.backcountry.com/...-Rope.html?mv_pc=318 someone else found this one, but it's a stellar deal on a rope so I thought I'd post it here. 60m 10.2mm non-dry. Beal Edlinger II, $83 and free shipping! Beal makes nice ropes, this is a hot deal if you need a rope.

Anyone have $83 that I can have/borrow? That is a sweet deal. I hate coming here when $$ is tight. Thanks for making me feel so poor.

They had 60 left when I completed my order.

I saw 3 "random" BD camalots for sale today on COM for $57 + $1 shipping... wtf?! too good to be true! I smell bullshit.

I demand they start showing their product stats like woot does. If they are going to be woot-like, they should so how many products they sell each time.

People: I know that thread drift is a basic necessity here on RC.com. I've stood in awe as I watched threads start out discussion religion, morph into quantum physics, and end up talking about boobies. That sort of skill deserves.... nay, DEMANDS respect. But let's try to get away from it on this particular thread, shall we? We can bash COM all day long, and it gets us nowhere. I'll be happy to split off posts of that topic and start a new thread, should you so desire. For now, I'll ask that we return this thread to it's regularly scheduled format: Hot Deals. Fair enough?

While I agree with you in the context of most threads, this discussion is an anomaly in the greater history of the Hot Deals thread. Once we've figured out what COM actually is, the discussion will die down. If you really want to split the thread, go ahead. But I would also then recommend that you continue to move all COM-related posts (including posts of purported Hot Deals) to the new thread. I don't think COM has earned proper standing to deserve mention within this thread. Until they've proven that they are a legitimate operation capable of delivering within a reasonable timeframe, and not simply advertising hoax sales, they shouldn't get mention in this thread. Or you could just leave it alone until it all dies down.

Boobies are not a stretch for linking to any topic. Without boobies, the internets wouldn't be the fine system of tubes we enjoy today! On topic: I saw in another thread that REI has a sale starting Friday on BD biners and draws. I haven't gotten my sales flier yet. Anything else on sale?
