Yo all, I'm doing an internship around east bay for the summer, and I can't seem to be able to find anyone who really wants to go climbing. Most of the people I've met have never even climbed outdoors. I'd really like to get quite a bit of experience on some real rock before I go back to Illinois at the end of summer. I was wondering if there was any experienced trad climber who could help me "learn the ropes" so to speak. I have a full trad rack (cams, hexes, stoppers), 2x dry 60m rope, 2 helmets, bouldering pad, CAR, etc. I have lead climbed up to 5.10 sport outdoors and I'm working on improving my strength and technique in the local gyms. I'll be in the bay area until middle of august. I'd greatly appreciate any help. -AJB

Hey, I am not that experienced but I have climbed indoors and outdoors. I doubt I could teach you anything but if you are ever setting up a climb I would love to go with. Just let me know. Sorry I can't be more of a help.
