Hello,

I am going to be working up in Yosemite the week of the 31st. However, I will be going up a week early, and might have nothing to do but hang around. It is my highest priority to climb.

1) Is it hard to find partners on short notice in Yosemite? I figure I will just hang around camp 4, but I don't know if this yields results. From those with such experience, please answer.

2) If anyone is going to be in Yosemite that week and would like to climb for a couple of days, I would be more than happy to.

I have moderate climbing experience- sport and trad. I have a decent rack, but it probably wouldn't suffice independently for Yosemite. I would probably not feel comfortable leading, but I serve up a mean belay and I am willing to follow on any grade. My safety and technical skills are my forte. I am very textbook about it (which can be good or bad).

Any cavers out there as well. I also cave as well.

Thanks,

Matt
