The Drip is generally east facing and I have climbed there in summer; El Cap is probably your best bet, it's a deep canyon and it is cooler than the Drip. Getting to the Drip requires permission of a landowner with a gate on the side of his property keeping the road closed otherwise. El Cap is accessible by the lower/southerly entrance and requires routefinding. The original way was a small parking area just upstream from the crag. Good luck. The coliseum has access issues; please stay away from this west-facing hot crag. For now.
