As some of you have noted, the coordinates given for Boxcar Rocks are realy those for Derry High Rocks. Here are the coordinates for the parking lot at Boxcar; I couldn't get a GPS reading at the rocks themselves. The parking lot is about 2.6 miles from the turnoff to Goldmine Road. The coordinates I have are: 40.544120, -76.535310

Did you send an Editor's Note, so the description in the RDB can be updated? You can get an exact location of the rocks with Google Earth without ever leaving your armchair I assume the rock themselves are the scarp to the east..?

Hi sbaclimber: Sorry, I'm totally new to lists of any type; I'll look around and see how to send an Editor's Note. I tried to get an exact location for the rocks, but although I could recognize the trail up, I wasn't sure from the satellite where the rocks were. BTW, I got to see my FIRST rattlesnake today (Sunday) at Boxcar, when we were hiking. I'm glad it wasn't sitting on a ledge I was climbing to yesterday.
