Two friends and I are heading up toward the Bruce Penninsula to climb this weekend, I've looked over the forums and the links, but im still a little lost and have a feeling it will be that way unless i get more beta. We sport climb up to low 5.12 and it looks like lion's head is really hard to navigate. Where is the cheapest camping (other than forging our way into the woods), where can I buy a guide book around there and what areas would you recommend?

call mountain equipment co-op in toronto, mec.ca. don't know of any climbing stores closer than that, but that's where I got my guidebook. the camping I was going to try later this summer is the indian reservation just north of wiarton, and I think there's camping right around lion's head itself.

last time I was in the town of lions Head, there was a small camp ground right on the beach. Nothing fancy but cheap. If my foggy memory is correct right across from the bar. But its been a few years. Binrat
