1rst... Must be hosted on the Net. Can't link from your computer. If not, submit to the Galley. We host thousands of pics for users. 2nd... As Cass stated, you must use HTML/BB Tags to insert the photo into a post. Tags enclosed in "[" & "]" for BB.. imgURL of .jpg/img or Tags enclosed in "" for HTML... img src="URL of .jpg" [ This Message was edited by: rrradam on 2002-09-13 16:31 ]

I am stupid, that explanation makes no sense. if posting a RC.com picture I assume you press the image button, then type in the name of it?

Thomas, the image you are using is the thumbnail they use in the photo listings. Click on you image and go to where it is enlarged, and use that address. Thumbnails are totally different images than what they come from. Two seperate entities.

The thing you have to remember though, is that you can make a big pic smaller and have it look good, but if you try and make a small pic big, it'll look like garbage.

Guys - it ain't rocket science. Go into Netscape. Right click on the very image you want to reproduce, and select View Image. The photo, and nuttin' but the photo, will appear in its own Netscape window. Copy the URL into the post. Put an right at the end with no space, and VOILA! I am Dr. Piton, and I think I dream in BB code. [I seriously need to like get a life, eh? Sheesh.] P.S. This is my Big Wall Crab. If you want to see a really swell example of how to insert photos, you can click here to see Hillary's excellent post. And if you want to see Dr. Piton's magic, wave your cursor over the bottom of this post and see how I edited this post in order to not lose my place, yet without putting that unsightly "edited by" bit at the bottom.
