I'm planning on attending Saint John's College in Annapolis, Maryland but I'm concerned I won't be close to any climbing. I know there are places I could go for weekend trips, but if there wasn't any climbing (indoor or out) within less than an hour drive I'd be pretty let down. Any info will help. thanks

The closest reasonable climbing I can think of is Rocks State Park in Bel Air.

Off the top of my head, It'd be not much more than an hour or so. For more accurate info, try google maps, annapolis to bel air, maryland. The closest rock gym that I'm aware of is Earthtreks in Columbia. As for really good climbing, It'll be The Gunks or Seneca for you.
