He's replying to posts from this thread in the other one. Maybe because that thread actually has brent_e in the thread title. I guess we will have to see. Yeah, I guess we will. I am going to continue cross-posting back here. Sweet!! just keeping it going. Don't worry. I will.

I still say if I was faced with the option of Lasik vs PRK I'd do the PRK all over again. You don't have to be as careful about your eyes.

My sister ended up with "halos" from lights for a week or two, anything like that with prk? I'm getting sick of contacts and my health insurance will help defray the costs of lasik.

GG, don't give in to chossmonkey. Keep the posts here. Yeah, in here. To tell you the truth I am pretty disappointed you guys didn't all jump on him for it. There wasn't much I could say. I figured the best thing I could do is let it go. It one thing for him to try and flame me, its quite another for him to drag Bec into it.

It didn't hurt the day of. The day after I didn't enjoy (but they give you these lovely numbing eye drops!). After a few days there was not more pain. A guy in the office here also had PRK and he said he didn't even get the pain the first day. I'm a wuss. Biggest annoyance while healing is that the eyes heal at different rates, so you get fluctuating vision. Not a problem until you have to stare at a computer screen all day, but even then it can be managed but dimming your screen and taking periodic breaks. No halos, I came out with 20/20 vision, just one eye a little dry still. I hated contacts, couldn't wear them all day, and glasses suck. Having my eyes fixed is amazing!
