I'm headed to Ouray around the end of Feb. Wanted to know if any of you have found a fun, funky kinda place to stay or know of a bed and breakfast w/ hot tub?

Best Western, Box Canyon Lodge, or the Victorian will all meet those criteria.

IMHO, Best Western has a better breakfast.

We always stay at the Box Canyon during the ice fest, so I can only answer for it (i like it), but you can find breakfast pretty much anywhere.Wink

Smile Lex, I stayed at the Vic last March and it was nice. The room was very romantic if you have someone else in mind that is going...slightly ornate with their burgundy reds.

Ouray Chalet Inn (I've stayed there two different times, both in February). The folks who run it are very nice, and the rooms were very comfortable.

Anyone know of any longer term lodging? Maybe for the months of January and Februrary? Most everything I've found is motels and shorter-term vacations rentals.

For a motel, I've stayed at Box Canyon and loved the hot tubs...

A truck with a camper shell, haha. You'll find a place easy, just Google it everyone is doing it.

I was also wondering about anyone who might have a room to rent, or know of one. Maybe for jan and febuary, basically whenever there is good ice and a room to rent. Its fine to camp in a truck, just sucks when you cant ever get your clothes to dry off (de-ice)
