Anyone happen to know what the record for longest and highest slackline is?

P.S. It sure would be great if there was a slackline forum to put this on!

To my knowlege, the longest is 119'5" featured in Masters of Stone 5. Dean Potter walked it.

This is not gospel, just an educated guess. They stated it was the record in the movie but that was 1999.

Gee umm, climbing history & trivia would be a good place for things like this... unless we wanted to discuss rigging it then maybe gear heads... but if we needed to place a piton or two it should go in aid... but then again if someone stubbed a toe.......

Maybe we do need one place to put the slacklining related things after all!

I'm not positive, but I think that the record from Masters of Stone was beaten by some guy on the Guiness World records TV show. I am at school right now, so I can't really research it, cause they managed to put some sort of block on the computer. Perhaps someone could check it out for me?

As far as I know, nobody has beat Dean's highline record (120 feet). Darrin Carter was the one featured on Guiness. I beleive he has the record for walking unleashed.

Also, I think Dean has the longest low line record at 300+ feet.

Cheers, Ammon
