the book to get is "Acadia" by Jeff Butterfield he lives on the island and owns Atlantic Clmbing School, you can stop by and see him as Jeff is usually at the office (24 Cottage Street) Otter Cliffs and The Precipice Wall are a couple places I have climbed. al

The precipice, on the eastern face of Mount Champlain offers some nice single and multipitch routes with great views of the surrounding coast once you get farther up. If your interested in sea cliff climbing then definately hit up otter cliffs. All these climbs top rope from above. Make sure you check tide charts before you go because you want to climb when the tide is low. I was there a month or so ago and it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. The mountains just seem to meet the sea and It is just a very special place. In terms of a guidebook, definately pick up Acadia: a Climber's Guide by Jeff Butterfield. It includes all the various climbing areas. I hope this helps.
