That's what I thought at first, but there is a ton of climbing at Valley of Fire, but none of it is legal as they don't allow technical gear. That and the biggest reason why I don't think it Valley of Fire is because it is nearest to Henderson, which is on the way out to the Hoover Damn, on the total opposite side of town.

Resurrecting a 5 year old thread for anyone looking for this area. Bowl of Fire is by Lake Mead, off North Shore Road. Head out to Callville Bay on North Shore Road. The parking is on the left off the road about 8-10 miles past the Callville turn off. Hike about 3-4 mile hike into Bowl of Fire. Where these particular climbs are ... who knows? But this will get you in the vicinity.
