So I come into Long Beach about once a month. Does anybody know any places I can climb around here or anybody I can climb with? I'm pretty new to it all but I can manage my own. Thanks....

If you're talking about outside you're kind of out of luck. There's not too much in Orange County that's worth it. Maybe Pirate's Cove. But if you can drive then there are many places within 1-3 hours. I'd recommend Joshua Tree

You should climb in Utah and surf, go to the beach, and see some music in Long Beach/So. Cal. I really miss the ocean and the music. There were free concerts downtown Thursday Night and a nice farmers market on Friday.

10 east, take 29 palms, turn right on park blvd to enter west entrance. Or do an internet search. It's a National Park so there's tons of info.

Red Rock Canyon, Just outside of Las Vegas. 3 hours away. Arguably the Best Sandstone Climbing in the world.

Wow, you drive pretty fast if you can make it to Red Rocks in 3 hours from Long Beach. I have a hard enough time making it out of the city limits in under 3 hours on some days. Jason
