Thanks to everybody who helped me out with finding good TR spots at JTree, but unfortunately, my plans have changed and I will be heading to Lake Isabella instead (long story).
Anyway, I need your help again. Do any of you know of any good climbing spots with the following characteristics?
1) Easy access to TR anchoring spot(scrambling, walking; no lead climbing)
2) Easy TR anchoring system (boulders, bolts, trees, etc.; I don't have any pros and am not confident enough to use them safely)
3) Routes between 5.6 and 5.10
Please give specific directions and descriptions if you can. It would help me out a lot.

I have been also trying to get info on Kernville climbing without much success. I do have some out of print guidebooks on the way to me in the mail.
Are you going to be in Kernville?
If you are I will be looking for a climbing partner if the weather holds in november.
There is no climbing club there & the guides have all closed down for the year.

Sorry, I ended up going to JTree instead, this past weekend. The weather was great! Saturday was cloudy and very comfortable temps. Nighttime was VERY comfy. Probably around lower 60s or so.
Not sure when I will be trying Kernville. If I do, it'll probably be sometime next year, though. But who knows....
