If you can find it, "Touch the Sky" by Paul Piana is the classic. Many routes, but not up to date. Best trad book, has five good area maps. Out of print, but maybe available on Amazon used. Most climbers I know won't give theirs up though.

Lindsay Stephens has a great book describing most of the Conn Routes in the Needles -- "The Adventure Climbs of Herb and Jan Conn".

Mt. Rushmore National Memorial Climbers Guide by Vernon R. Phinney is probably the best on Rushmore, according to Sylvan Rocks.

Try Granite Sports in Hill City for these and others.
