Does anyone know anything about the Do not Trespass sign at the foot Box Springs? It recently appeared. I thought this was a park. The sign looks like anyone could have put it up. So, I don't know if it's legal or not. I don't want be be climbing there and get arrested.

I saw it as well recently. I assume it's for the lot right behind it. Someone may have purchased it. That would be a great location to build a house! Cool

The cliffs are within the Park Boundaries. You can always park at the lot at the end of Blaine, which is 100% legal access. It doesn't add that much extra of a hike maybe ~5 minutes extra. Just follow trail take a left up the gully that leads to the Crack Towers.

I used to talk to the owners of the house at the top of the hill quite frequently. Back then, they were concerned about keeping the partyers, trash dumpers, and stolen car drop offs from happening. My guess is that sign isn't targeting climbers, but that isn't to say that you wouldn't get a ticket.

The Boxsprings TOPO is attached to this message. I get common requests for this and am in a good mood today Angelic
