Any recommendations of the two guidebooks out right not? Potrero Select by Magic Ed or The Whole Enchilada by Dave Bass? Which is better and more accurate? Planning on going out there Dec 21-27th. How is it during XMas? All shut down or still alive as ever?

I would recommend either of Magic Ed's books over The Whole Enchilada. Potrero Select doesn't have all the routes-only the best of. Ed's other book, the plain-jane which costs only 12 bucks has all the routes in it but is only available after you arrive. Things should be in full swing right through Christmas. Too bad you can only stay a few days--you'll be wishing you could stay longer!!!
