Wow. That video really sucked. In contrast, the videos of Sharma climbing Realization, La Rambla, and Dreamcatcher are bad-ass.

I'm a big fan of your photography but I'm not sure this is all that great. So this is still images, turned into video? Hmm, I'd have prefered a photo slideshow, just looks like choppy video to me, even when I DL it to my hard drive. Wondering if you could explain your thought process on it?

Yeah unfortunately a ton is lost on this one when its uploaded to YouTube. It's basically an ultra-HD stop-motion animation of about 10,000 full-resolution (12mp) still images, which I did for a slide show. (This is the short version.) You can download a better resolution version at www.triplecrownbouldering.com, and I'll have one posted on my website soon.

I kinda liked it. it had a cool dymanic feel to it, really artsy. some parts were weird, but the best part was the guy topping out in the beginning. I think it may be more effective to show less almost video parts, but still a really cool bit of work.

I flippin loved that video! I saw it a while ago... I think I liked it so much because of how the film flowed, it was hectic and 'piecey' and I feel that way at Triple Crown events. It's exciting, racing all over all day long, getting initials, finding routes, earning points, checkin your watch, grabbing some water, finding your crashpad, meeting so many people AND climbing! It's a positive portrayal of the event. I couldn't go this year but I feel like I was filled in watching the vid. Thanks!
