Im not sure where to post this since there is no slacklining forum(hint hint).
But anyways, when slackling a gap do I need to double up the webbing?
And what do they wear for a harness? Do they wear a swami belt or reg harness with full strength haul loop or what?
I've seen pictures of slackers on gaps but I can never tell what their rig is. Thanks.

No it will not!
Ammon/elcapbuzz addressed this very issue not long ago but like you say there is no way of knowing where it may be, since there is not one place for all of the slacklining info to go. (hint hint )
I will now go and do a search for the info and come back. As I have already started my reply and don't want to "time out" on this post.

Dood!
Highlines are the most gear-trusting thing I can think of...If a single thing goes wrong your going to take the plunge...it's not like in sport climbing when you forget to clip somthing in but nothing goes wrong because you dont fall...well...if your line comes down your going with it, dood!
Too bad we can't keep all of this info together to make this as safe as possible

slack l;ining is almost a side sport at my local gym if it gets dead there they always set up a slack line just sue a few biners an a lot of webbing and set it up like a truckers hitch.
