Dave Hill crankin' on the cover. I'll have to give him some crap next time I see 'im. Bout time someone took Pilot's lack of a decent topo into their own hands. Glad to see it was Jeff - super nice guy to boot. I see a lot of the route grades have been fixed as well - Papa Bear, Devil in the White House appropriately downgraded, and Turkey Shoot finally got that R it very much warrants (though it should really be an R/X - that second bolt is groundfall runout).

This guide makes the Pilot Mtn. NC website area here nothing more than a climbing version of myspace for the owner to make ad revenue from. Anyone interested in climbing Pilot Mtn. NC should definitely get Jeff's booklet, and forget this website. By making it free for downloading, anyone can have the best info there is on Pilot Mtn. Kelley was reportedly never at Pilot Mtn. Jeff, on the other hand, is the current manager of the anchors there: if he says it, you can depend on it for sure.
