ok, I tried to edit some info on a route (pretty simple edit; I just changed "farthest right" to "farthest left," which need to be done), and got this:

In reply to:
Route Modified

We have received your request to modify the following route:
Title:
Miss Kitty Likes That Way
Category:
North America/United States/Utah/Moab/Long Canyon/Maverick buttress
Description:
An amazing splitter up solid rock, farthest right route on the crag.

Thank you! We will send you an e-mail once your route information has been validated.

I've gotten it before when editing, but WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT MEAN? Who "verifies," and how will you guys "send me an email?" I have certainly gotten on emails on previous edits that I've done, and I'm not sure that they are even working.

The routes database is managed by volunteer editors who review all changes. The list can be found here: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...ase_Editors_557.html

As soon as your route edit is reviewed and validated (or rejected) an automatic e-mail is generated to the e-mail address listed on your rc.com account.

Let me know if you need more info.

Cheers,
DDT
